East Jessamine 85, Frankfort 73: Emma Young scored a school-record 44 points in the Jaguars’ win. BriAnna Burbridge nearly kept pace with 42 points for the visiting Panthers.
Boys’ high school basketball
Taylor County 75, Nelson County 41: Quentin Goodin, a Xavier commitment, delivered a quadruple-double for the Cardinals with 14 points, 12 rebounds,11 assists and 10 steals.
No. 2 Henry Clay 73, No. 19 Lafayette 65: Isaiah Tisdale scored 26 points and Jordan Houston had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the Blue Devils’ win at Lafayette. Ross Jenkins scored 19 points for the Generals.
No. 3 Paul Dunbar 90, West Jessamine 60: Darius Williams scored 31 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help the host Bulldogs end a two-game skid.
No. 10 Scott County 56, Eastern 51: Cooper Robb scored 18 points and had five rebounds for the visiting Cardinals.
No. 1 Covington Catholic 72, Simon Kenton 44: Cole VonHandorf and Andy Flood scored 14 points apiece for the host Colonels.
Clark County 79, Tates Creek 70: The host Cardinals got 21 points and 12 rebounds from James Cornelius.
No. 13 Oldham County 74, Meade County 59: Ismail Jones scored 20 points to go with five assists for the host Colonels. Kase Mattingly had 22 points, six rebounds and four steals for the Green Wave.
