Follow along live Sunday afternoon as Josh Moore of the Herald-Leader provides live updates from courtside when Butler takes on Franklin County in the championship game of the KHSAA/St. Elizabeth Healthcare Girls’ Sweet 16 at Northern Kentucky University’s BB&T Arena.

Tip-off was scheduled for 2 p.m.

Butler (30-5) has defeated Bowling Green, Elizabethtown and Murray on its way to the state championship game. Franklin County (31-4) has advanced by beating Shelby Valley, Campbell County and Mercer County.

The championship contenders have not played each other previously this season.
