High School Basketball

Cantrall’s ratings: A new No. 1 team in this week’s boys’ top 25 (Feb. 14)

Elizabethtown surged to the top spot in this week’s top 25 in Dave Cantrall’s Rating the State for boys’ high school basketball in Kentucky.

The Panthers, tied for fourth last week, defeated previous-No. 1 Bowling Green 64-36 on Saturday. The Purples dropped to eighth this week.

New to the top 10 this week is Doss in ninth and Frederick Douglass, up 12 spots to 10th.
