Cantrall’s ratings for every boys’ team that reached its region tournament

Region tournaments for boys’ high school basketball in Kentucky got underway Saturday, including the 12th, 14th and 16th regions.

Here is Dave Cantrall’s ratings for every team that reached the region tournaments going into Saturday’s play.

Overall, Covington Catholic (85.3) led the way, followed by Male (84.0); Elizabethtown (83.8); Bowling Green (83.3); Highlands (82.5); Ballard (82.3); Lexington Catholic (81.6); Frederick Douglass and St. Henry (tied at 80.9); and Paul Laurence Dunbar (80.3).
