Girls’ Sweet 16: Day 2 wrap-up from basketball state tournament in Rupp Arena
The Mingua Beef Jerky Girls’ Sweet 16 State Basketball Tournament continued with four first-round games Thursday in Rupp Arena.
Ashland Blazer, McCracken County, Mercy and Henderson County punched tickets to Friday’s quarterfinals in Lexington after Owensboro Catholic, Sacred Heart, George Rogers Clark and North Laurel did the same one day earlier.
Four quarterfinal games are on tap for Friday.
