2024 Girls’ Sweet 16: Wrap-up from the final day of the basketball state tournament
The Mingua Beef Jerky Girls’ Sweet 16 State Basketball Tournament concluded Saturday with the semifinals and championship game in Rupp Arena.
Those games followed the four opening-day games Wednesday won by Bowling Green, McCracken County, Butler and Franklin County and the four other first-round games Thursday captured by Bethlehem, Henderson County, Sacred Heart Academy and Cooper. Then, on Friday, McCracken County, Butler, Sacred Heart and Cooper advanced to the semifinals.
