Allen Feldhaus Jr. could have strong ties to two state titles by week's end.

Feldhaus coached Madison Central's boys to the KHSAA Sweet Sixteen championship on Sunday. Now he turns his attention to cheering for Madison Central's girls, including his daughter Ashton, who are in the Houchens Industries/KHSAA Sweet Sixteen that begins Wednesday in Bowling Green.

Unbeaten and nationally ranked Marion County is an overwhelming favorite to win the girls' title. If it does, Feldhaus has a connection there, too. Marion County Coach Trent Milby played for Feldhaus at Green County in the early 1990s.

Feldhaus said he and Milby have exchanged texts after big wins all season.
