Top performers: QB throws 8 TDs, Steve Spurrier’s grandson has career night

Austin Barnett, Scott County: Had 188 yards and three TDs on 29 carries for Scott County in its 51-27 loss to Henry Clay. Finished with 134 kick-return yards to end with 322 all-purpose yards.
Clayton Bush and Gavin Spurrier, South Warren: Spurrier, the grandson of Steve Spurrier, was 11-for-13 for a career-high 349 yards and six TD passes in South Warren’s 55-7 win at Greenwood. Bush, a WKU commit, hauled in five of those receptions for four TDs and a career-high 221 yards.
Jamaun Clark, Paris: He scored Paris’ only TD and rushed for 154 yards on 26 carries in the Greyhounds’ 9-0 win over Bracken County.
Ramond Jackson, Henry Clay: Finished with 305 all-purpose yards in Henry Clay’s 51-27 upset of Scott County on the road. He had 159 yards and a TD on six receptions, returned a kickoff 76 yards for a TD and returned two interceptions a total of 70 yards.
Erick Marinelli, Ballard Memorial: Finished with eight TD passes — one shy of matching the state record — and 440 yards on 20-for-43 passing in the Bombers’ 58-34 win at Webster County. He also carried seven times for 32 yards and a TD.
Kent Trey Matthews, Mayfield: Rushed for 263 yards and three TDs on 21 carries in the Cardinals’ 63-28 win over Murray.
Camarr Myers, Bourbon County: Scored five TDs for the Colonels in their 50-43 win against Mason County, snapping a three-game losing streak. He scored four times and rushed for 160 yards on 21 carries and had two catches for 45 yards and a score.
Wandale Robinson, Western Hills: Rushed 19 times for 181 yards and four TDs and caught another score. He also completed a 15-yard pass and made 12 tackles on defense in the Wolverines’ 32-0 win over Washington County.
Keegan Sullivan, St. Xavier: Threw for 236 yards and two fourth-quarter TDs to lift the Tigers to a 21-7 victory over Trinity, their first win in the rivalry since 2014.
