Final furlong

▪  Corey Lanerie continued his red-hot ways of late, booting home four winners on Saturday’s Keeneland card. That moved Lanerie into the lead of the jockey standings for the meet with 14 victories, putting him one ahead of Javier Castellano and Luis Saez.

▪  Magdalena Racing’s Dothraki Queen, second in the Grade I Darley Alcibiades and third in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies last fall, worked 5 furlongs in 1:03.20 after the renovation break with Gary Stevens aboard Saturday. “It was a solid work and Gary was happy with her,” trainer Kenny McPeek said. “We are still on the fence about the (Kentucky) Oaks.”
