Will the Big Blue Nation follow the Kentucky football team to Nashville for the Dec. 29 game against Northwestern in the Music City?

Or will the Big Blue Nation stay at home and go to the Kentucky-Louisville basketball game and watch the bowl on television? Or watch both on television?

I asked those questions and more of fellow Lexington Herald-Leader sports columnist Mark Story, as we wrapped up the regular football season, looked ahead to the bowl and discussed the progress of the basketball team.

UK athletics director Mitch Barnhart held a press conference Sunday night to promote the bowl game and ask the fan base to lift up the football team by supporting the players in Nashville.
