A closer look at Kentucky basketball’s three-point shooting
Kentucky made just two of 20 three-point shots in the Cats’ 69-60 loss at Missouri on Saturday.
That’s just 10.0 percent, the second-lowest percentage in the John Calipari era for games in which Kentucky has attempted 20-or-more three-point shots.
As a team, UK is now shooting 33.5 percent from three, which ranks 243rd out of 351 Division I teams. Of Calipari’s nine Kentucky teams, that ranks ahead of the 2009-10 and 2013-14 teams.
This Kentucky team gets only 19.2 percent of its points on three-pointers, which ranks 350th out of those 351 teams.
