Podcast: Georgia football scouting report for Saturday’s game with Kentucky

There will be a football game Saturday at Kroger Field. A big football game. Perhaps you’ve heard. Kentucky plays Georgia. The winner will represent the SEC East in the league title game Dec. 1 in Atlanta. Just that.

Want to know more about the Georgia Bulldogs? Me, too. That’s why I talked with Brandon Sudge of the Macon Telegraph about Kirby Smart’s team heading into the Saturday showdown, which is a scheduled 3:30 p.m. start on CBS.

Brandon talked about Georgia’s season, the Dawgs offense behind quarterback Jake Fromm and a stable of running backs, plus a defense that has struggled a bit against the run. That’s one of the keys for Georgia against the Cats when the two teams, both 7-1 overall and 5-1 in the SEC, face off Saturday.
