Cats rolling 39-20 over the winless Hawks with 3:26 left in the first half. The visitors called time to try and stem a 17-2 UK run. Tyler Herro leads UK with 10 points. Reid Travis has seven. Nick Richards just checked in and follow-jammed a miss.

The visiting Hawks chopped the UK lead to 22-18 with 9:33 left in the half. Then PJ Washington, wearing pink shoes, followed home a jam. Tyler Herro hit a pair of free throws. And Ashton Hagans buried a three-pointer from the right wing to push UK’s advantage back out to 11. Cats have made 10 of 18 shots for 56 percent. Monmouth is eight-of-19 from the floor for 42.1 percent.

Kentucky up 20-12 with 11:56 left in 1H

Cats are seven-of-12 from the floor for 58.3 percent, including four-of-six from three-point range for 66.7 percent. Quade Green and Tyler Herro are each two-of-two from three. Monmouth has made five of 12 shots.
