Podcast: How will Saturday’s Kentucky-Louisville football game affect recruiting?

Kentucky Coach Mark Stoops and Louisville Coach Scott Satterfield face off for the first time when UK plays host to U of L on Saturday in the annual Governor’s Cup game. Kickoff is set for noon at Kroger Field. The SEC Network has the telecast.

To preview the matchup, I talked with Jody Demling, publisher of Cardinal Authority and sideline reporter for the U of L Radio Network. Jody talked about the job Satterfield has done in his first year at Louisville, turning a 2-10 team last season into a 7-4 team this year. I also talked with my colleague Josh Moore of the Herald-Leader about the Wildcats. We discussed what effect this game might have on in-state recruiting.
