College football on television this weekend (Sept. 24-26)
One thing we’ve learned through these first three weeks of the college football season, games can be postponed or canceled at a moment’s notice.
As of Thursday, four games scheduled for this weekend had been postponed — Notre Dame at Wake Forest, Tulsa at Arkansas State, South Florida at Florida Atlantic, and North Texas at Houston. So we post this weekend’s college football television schedule with the following disclaimer: Subject to change.
The SEC starts its season Saturday, which means Kentucky will start its season at Auburn. Tom Hart, Jordan Rodgers and Cole Cubelic will be the SEC Network team for the noon kickoff.
[Five things to know about the Auburn Tigers]
CBS picked Mississippi State-LSU for its 3:30 p.m. slot. ESPN tabbed Alabama-Missouri for its 7 p.m. slot. The SEC Network settled on Tennessee-South Carolina for its 7:30 p.m. prime-time game. ABC chose Florida State at Miami for its 8 p.m. window.
