College football on television this weekend (Oct. 15-17)

Never mind that Nick Saban tested positive for COVID-19, the biggest game in 2020 SEC football (so far) is still scheduled to commence Saturday night in Tuscaloosa.

CBS has the 8 p.m. telecast between Saban’s undefeated No. 2 Alabama and Kirby Smart’s undefeated No. 3 Georgia. Brad Nessler and the ever-controversial (for some reason) Gary Danielson are the broadcast team, with Jamie Erdahl reporting from the sidelines.

Of local interest, the SEC Network has the high noon rivalry matchup between Kentucky (1-2) and Tennessee (2-1) in Knoxville. Tom Hart, Jordan Rodgers and Cole Cubelic comprise the broadcast team.

NBC has the 2:30 p.m. ACC matchup between Louisville (1-3) and No. 4 Notre Dame (3-0) in South Bend. Mike Tirico, Tony Dungy and Kathryn Tappen comprise the broadcast team.
