The Kentucky Wildcats are scheduled to play the Missouri Tigers in the SEC basketball opener for both programs on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at Rupp Arena. The SEC Network has the 7 p.m. telecast. Missouri Coach Cuonzo Martin has tested positive for COVID and will not make the trip to Lexington. To preview the game, Lexington Herald-Leader sports columnist John Clay talked with Lila Bromberg of the Kansas City Star about Missouri. He spoke with Jerry Tipton of Kentucky.com about the Wildcats.
