College football on television this weekend (Aug. 27)

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers kick off the 2022 college football season with a noon (EDT) game against visiting Austin Peay in Bowling Green on Saturday. The CBS Sports Network has the telecast of the first official matchup of the season.

Elsewhere, Nebraska plays Northwestern in a Big Ten game in Dublin, Ireland. And SEC member Vanderbilt hops on a plane for the Commodores’ season opener at Hawaii.
