College football on television this weekend (Oct. 21-22)

The college football weekend is highlighted by several matchups between ranked teams.

In a battle of ACC unbeatens, No. 14 Syracuse is at No. 5 Clemson at noon on ABC. Syracuse is 6-0 overall, including 3-0 in the ACC. Clemson is 7-0 overall, including 5-0 in the conference.

At 3:30 p.m. on Fox, No. 9 UCLA is at No. 10 Oregon. Chip Kelly’s UCLA Bruins are 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the Pac-12. After being drubbed by Georgia in its opener, Oregon has won five straight. The Ducks are 3-0 in the Pac-12.

At 3:30 p.m. on ABC, No. 20 Texas is at No. 11 Oklahoma State. Texas is 5-2 overall, including 3-1 in the Big 12. Oklahoma State suffered its first loss of the season last week, falling 43-40 to TCU in overtime. The Cowboys are 5-1 overall, including 2-1 in the Big 12.

ESPN has the 7 p.m. matchup between No. 24 Mississippi State and No. 6 Alabama. Mississippi State is coming off its 27-17 loss at Kentucky last Saturday. Mike Leach’s Bulldogs are 5-2 overall, 2-2 in the SEC. Alabama is fresh off its 52-49 loss at Tennessee last Saturday. Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide is 6-1 overall, 3-1 in the SEC.

At 8 p.m. on FS1, No. 17 Kansas State is at No. 8 TCU. Kansas State is 5-1 overall, 3-0 in the Big 12. TCU is undefeated at 6-0 overall, 3-0 in the Big 12.
