Lexington native Zach Hodskins, born without a hand, scores for Florida basketball

A wonderful thing happened during Florida’s 89-65 win over Jacksonville on Tuesday night in Gainesville.

Zach Hodskins, a sophomore guard for the Gators who was born without the lower part of his left arm including his left hand, scored his first collegiate basket.

A native of Lexington, Hodskins grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia. A Kentucky fan, Hodskins walked-on at Florida under Billy Donovan.
