South Carolina will be trying to protect its perfect home record (13-0) on Saturday when No. 22 Kentucky comes to Colonial Life Arena on Saturday. And Kentucky’s last road trip ended with an 84-77 loss at Tennessee when the Cats blew a 21-point home lead.

If you look at college basketball this year, road teams are having a tough time winning, UK coach John Calipari said Friday during the media opportunity to preview Saturday’s game.

So far, there have been 77 SEC basketball games. The road team has won 19 of those games, or 24.7 percent.

LSU, South Carolina and Texas A&M lead the way with three league road wins. Kentucky and Texas A&M each have two.
