College basketball on television: Light slate of games for Monday night
Unfortunately, President’s Day doesn’t offer a great slate of college basketball games on television for our viewing pleasure.
No. 2 Kansas plays host to Travis Ford and Oklahoma State at 9 p.m. on ESPN. Kansas knocked off host Oklahoma on Saturday 76-72. The Jayhawks are 9-3 in the Big 12. Oklahoma State is 3-9.
No. 7 Virginia plays host to North Carolina State at 7 p.m. on ESPN. The Cavaliers lost to Duke on Saturday to fall to 9-4 in the ACC. N.C. State is just 3-9 in league play.
Oh, well, there’s always the Grammys, where I’m looking forward to seeing Jackson Browne team up with the Eagles for a tribute to Glenn Frey. WKYT in Lexington has the Grammys, starting at 8 p.m.
