Stella’s El Cubano burgers hit tangy notes for Lexington Burger Week

Lexington Burger Week continues, and LexGo Eat is sampling burgers all over town with special celebrity guest tasters. Wednesday we went to Stella’s Kentucky Deli with Fayette County PVA David O’Neill and Smiley Pete Publishing owner Chuck Creacy for the “El Cubano,” including the vegetarian version.

Burger Week, July 10-16, features 46 burgers all over town for $5; LexGo Eat sampled the “Jamal Smashburg” on Monday with sportswriters Jerry Tipton and John Clay.

Later Thursday, LexGo Eat will be at Drake’s with more special guests (hint: think University of Kentucky basketball) trying the BLT Burger and on Friday, we’ll be at Shakespeare & Co. with WKYT’s Chris Bailey for the Char-Crossed Lovers.”
