CentrePointe to open in spring 2018, developer says
Developer Dudley Webb has released the final renderings for the downtown CentrePointe project.
The CentrePointe garage would be finished by spring 2017, he said, and most of the remaining CentrePointe complex would be complete by spring 2018. The hotel, which involves more complicated finishes, might take until summer 2018, Webb said Friday.
The new renderings reflect suggestions made by the Courthouse Area Design Review Board in 2014, including a defined top to one of the buildings and an indented space in the office building facade.
The project includes an apartment building, a Marriott hotel, offices and a Jeff Ruby’s steakhouse.
“These are very minor tweaks,” Webb said of the renderings. “We’re just trying to be compliant. It’s a good-looking building.”
It could not immediately be determined whether the latest renderings will require approval of the Courthouse Area Design Review Board.
