Tri-State Freethinkers protest anniversary of Ark Encounter
About 75 people affiliated with the Tri-State Freethinkers, a group that identifies itself as “a social, academic, and activist group with over 2,100 members in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio” that “advocates for equal rights and the separation of church and state,” protested at Ark Encounter in Williamstown on Saturday morning.
The protesters made known their displeasure with the one-year anniversary of the opening of the park, which received state tax breaks.
The Ark is billed as the largest timber frame structure in the world.
