Woman seriously injured in early-morning Lexington crash

A single-vehicle crash seriously injured a woman early Thursday in Lexington, according to police.

The crash occurred on Kenesaw Drive near Golden Oak Drive, outside of Man o’ War Boulevard, about 12:10 a.m., according to police. The driver of a truck was unresponsive when first responders arrived.

She had to be cut out of the vehicle and was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, according to WKYT.

The driver was still in surgery about 8 a.m., according to police.
