LaRue County High School principal arrested on more than 60 child pornography charges

The LaRue County High School principal has been arrested on child pornography charges, according to media and police reports.

Stephen Kyle Goodlett, 36, was arrested Thursday night in his home in Elizabethtown, according to WLKY. He is facing 60 counts of possession and three counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Electronics were seized from Goodlett’s house for forensic examination and additional charges are expected, according to Kentucky State Police.

Goodlett will be suspended with pay during the investigation, according The News-Enterprise in Hardin County.

Goodlett is being held in the Hardin County jail.
