Shooting at Fayette Mall leaves one injured
One person was injured in a shooting in the parking lot of Fayette Mall Saturday night, according Lexington police.
The shooting was an isolated incident and the victim and the shooter knew each other, according to Brenna Angel, the spokeswoman for Lexington Police.
The victim is being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound, Angel said. The victim was transported to the hospital by a private vehicle.
At least one vehicle was hit by bullets, according to police.
