Rating the State: Scott County tops first football rankings of season
Scott County has a slight edge on Covington Catholic in the season debut of Dave Cantrall’s Rating the State for high school football.
Male, Mayfield and Simon Kenton round out the top five.
Note, however, that several of the state’s top teams are not yet included in the rankings as they have not yet played at least two opponents from Kentucky.
