It’s about damn time, Lexington! Lizzo bringing concert tour to Rupp Arena

She’s won three Grammys, an Emmy and hosted “Saturday Night Live” and now Lizzo is coming to Rupp Arena. The flute-playing singer and artist announced on Monday that “The Special 2our” will be in Lexington April 22, 2023.

Tickets for the Saturday night concert will go on sale to the public 10 a.m. Nov. 18 on Lizzomusic.com. American Express card members can buy tickets for the show beginning 10 a.m. local time on Nov. 16.

How much are Lizzo tickets?

Tickets for the first leg of the concert tour, which ends this weekend in Los Angeles, are going for $500-$1,500 each, according to Ticketmaster.com. Standing room only floor tickets were $200 each.

Lizzo’s new album, “Special,” is available now, including the worldwide smash, “About Damn Time,” her fourth top 10 hit following “Truth Hurts,” “Good As Hell” and “Rumors (feat. Cardi B).”

Her Amazon Prime reality show, “Lizzo’s Watch Out For The Big Grrrls” won an Emmy earlier this year. Lizzo’s 2019 debut album, “Cuz I Love You,” won a Grammy for “Best Urban Contemporary Album” and she was named 2019 Entertainer of the Year by “Time” and “Entertainment Weekly.”
