Billy Strings concert tour includes two Rupp Arena dates. Here’s how to buy tickets.

Billy Strings, the Grammy Award-winning bluegrass musician who electrified audiences at the Railbird music festival, will be returning to Lexington.

And this time he’ll play the big stage: Billy Strings will headline two nights at Rupp Arena. He’ll perform April 26-27.

Rupp Club VIP tickets are available to buy now.

Tickets for the two concerts will be available for pre-sale beginning Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. EST.

Also, a limited number of tickets will be available to purchase in person at the box office beginning at 10 a.m. Jan. 10.

General on-sale begins Jan. 12 at 10 a.m. local time.

Strings is nominated for three Grammy Awards at the Feb. 4 awards show including Best Bluegrass Album for his “Me/And/Dad,” which was released last year. He has been nominated six times, winning once in 2021 for Best Bluegrass Album for “Home.”

He played the Railbird music festival at Keeneland in 2019 on a modest stage then returned in 2021 to a mainstage show. Strings also has played local clubs including Manchester Music Hall.

This will be his first appearance at Rupp Arena.
