‘Cat In The Hat’, Cirque shows highlight these 11 things to do this weekend

National Paddling Film Festival

The 38th annual National Paddling Film Festival will take place at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort from Feb. 21-23. Since 1981 the event has been held to determine the best in paddle sport videos and images and to support American Whitewater and river conservation. ABBA The Concert

The Most Massive Woman Wins

The UK Theatre & Dance Studio Season will present “The Most Massive Woman Wins” on Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Lucille Little Black Box Theatre inside the University’s fine arts building. The play explores the perception of body image of four women of various shapes and sizes sitting in the waiting room of a liposuction clinic, who reveal their experiences dealing with their weight issues through monologues, short scenes, and even schoolyard rhymes. Blind Corn Liquor Pickers

Bluegrass collective Blind Corn Liquor Pickers are teaming up with funk, rock and soul troupe Driftwood Gypsy for a bash at Al’s Bar on Feb. 21 at 9 p.m. The show will be the last for Blind Corn percussionist Thomas Sinclair performing with the band.
