Downtown Lexington speakeasy announces closing less than one year after opening

A speakeasy bar in downtown Lexington is closing less than a year after opening.

Pour Decisions announced it is closing on Facebook Wednesday afternoon. It said the owner will looking for a new location and hope to serve customers again in the future.

“We’ve loved serving you and look forward to hopefully serving you in the future,” the bar wrote on social media.

Pour Decisions opened on Aug. 12 and was designed to be an upscale social club, focused on happy hour, pre-dinner and after dinner gatherings. It’s menu featured cocktails and light food.

The bar was owned by Kelly King, who owned and managed The Venues of the Grand Reserve for a decade before selling the business. The building used to be occupied by Gather on Main, a coffee and sandwich shop that closed in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Before that, it was The Casual Pint.
