New Lexington bar bringing a speakeasy feel to east end of Main Street
A new bar has opened on the east end of downtown Lexington with a speakeasy flavor.
Pour Decisions opened at 233 E. Main St. on Aug. 12 and will be open in the evenings with a menu of cocktails and light food.
Many drinks are available “rimmed” in dark or white chocolate or caramel that drips down the side of the glass.
It’s in the former location of the coffee and sandwich shop Gather on Main, which closed in 2020 during the pandemic. Before that, it was The Casual Pint.
The new bar is owned by Kelly King, who owned and managed The Venues of the Grand Reserve for a decade before selling the business.
Now, she’s opened this new concept with chief marketing officer Chad Howard, according to a news release.
Pour Decisions is designed to be an upscale social club, focused on happy hour, pre-dinner and after dinner gatherings.
The name is a reference to the friends who “are there to support your every decision, even the poor ones,” according to the bar’s web site.
Besides a line of cocktails, the bar will offer charcuterie and other boards from Skip The Fork.
