Bob Dylan fan? See ‘A Complete Unknown’ movie, drink his bourbon at early screening
Bourbon fans and music lovers probably know that Bob Dylan has built a distillery in Kentucky and a tasting room in Louisville.
The Last Refuge, sometimes called the High Church of Bourbon, is at 600 E. Market St. in Louisville, and celebrates music, whiskey and art in a historic setting.
Now, The Last Refuge is celebrating the upcoming release of the new Bob Dylan biopic, “A Complete Unknown.”
On Dec. 18, beginning at 5 p.m., Heaven’s Door Whiskey, which is Dylan’s brand, will host a tasting of Heaven’s Door cocktails inspired by the movie. Attendees can enter a raffle for a chance to win tickets to an exclusive early screening 7 p.m. that night at the Baxter Theater. Five sets of tickets are available, with transportation included.
No reservations are required for the event, which is open to the public.
The movie will officially debut in theaters on Christmas Day. Directed by James Mangold and starring Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan, the film tells the true story of the rise of one of the most iconic artists in history, who just also happens to have his own bourbon brand now.
