Fans of the biggest selling bourbon in the world have a chance to celebrate the Kentucky distillery’s founder on Aug. 23.

The Jim Beam Day at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will feature a self-guided tour of the grounds, live music and a chance to customize Jim Beam apparel for special souvenirs.

There also will be tasting seminars that will include samples of present, past and future bourbons and whiskeys, including LIttle Book Chapter 9, Baker’s 13-Year-Old with Baker Beam, Basil Hayden Malted Rye and more.

The distillery is located at at 586 Happy Hollow Road in Clermont.

Tickets are $50 for the whole day and are available at Beamdistilling.com.

During the annual Kentucky Bourbon Festival in September, thousands of people are expected to visit distilleries, sample bourbon and enjoy the various festivities. Distillery gift shops, such as the one in the Jim Beam American Stillhouse, often has special releases times to the festival just for attendees to purchase.
