If you’ve ever wondered if one of Kentucky’s oldest distilleries is haunted, here’s your chance to find out: Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort is offering two new Night at the Distillery experiences.

Tickets for Night at the Distillery Self-Guided Tour are on sale now. It’s a nighttime walking trail through the historic grounds featuring legends, folklore and untold stories of the distillery’s two-century history paired with cocktails and neat tastings Oct. 23-31 at various times.

Tickets are $35 per person and include three cocktails and one neat tasting, a snack box plus a 1L Sazerac Rye 100 proof bottle and a reusable tote bag. The retail shop will also be open.

Entry for Night at the Distillery Private Ghost Hunting Experience will go live at noon on Oct. 15. The distillery is also giving away a stay on site, which closes just before noon on Oct. 22.

The giveaway lets you join paranormal investigators on Halloween night for a late-night private ghost-hunting experience inside the distillery’s “most haunted buildings,” according to the news release.

This very limited experience (one winner and one guest) includes the Night at the Distillery tour, plus the ghost hunt and a one-night stay in Stony Point, Albert Blanton’s former home, on Oct. 31.

You also get a daytime tour and premium shopping experiences at the Buffalo Trace gift shop on Nov. 1 as well as round-trip coach airfare and ground transportation to and from the distillery.

According to the distillery, tour guides and guests have reported sightings of an older gentleman resembling Albert B. Blanton appearing in various locations around the distillery.

“For more than 200 years, Buffalo Trace has been a place where history and legend intertwine,” said Tyler Adams, Buffalo Trace Distillery general manager, in the news release. “Night at the Distillery invites guests to step into those stories and experience that connection firsthand. We set out to create an experience unlike anything we’ve done before, one that lets guests walk in the footsteps of generations past and explore the Distillery’s lore in a whole new light.”
