Kentucky’s first cannabis cocktail bar is releasing its newest THC-infused drink
Kentucky’s first cannabis cocktail lounge is set to release its newest ready-to-drink canned beverage flavor.
Cannabuzz Bar & Dispensary is expanding its canned drink lineup to three with Champagne Blush, a sparkling, alcohol-free, ready-to-drink THC-infused beverage.
The new drink, available in low dose (2 mg THC) and high dose (5 mg THC), is inspired by the crisp elegance of rosé sparkling wine with notes of rose plum and berry, Cannabuzz said in a news release.
“Champagne Blush captures the celebratory feel of a sparkling rosé with the smooth, approachable effects our customers love,” said Cannabuzz Founder Annie Rouse. “It’s a versatile beverage designed for everything from special occasions to everyday moments.”
To celebrate the new release, Cannabuzz will host a pre-launch party 8 p.m. May 29 at the bar and dispensary in Lexington’s Historic Distillery District. The party will feature live music from James Beers and the Wandering Woodsmen. The following day, Cannabuzz will introduce Champagne Blush to the public at Lexington’s Pride Festival.
Cannabuzz reopened in Lexington’s Historic Distillery District last year after new state regulations on hemp and cannabis. The company says its THC- and CBD-infused beverages are made as an alternative to alcohol.
The new drink joins the brand’s other canned THC-infused beverages, Lemon Haze Tea and Pineapple Express Punch. At the Distillery District bar, they also serve infused mocktails and hemp-derived products, including edibles and dog treats.
