The long-awaited grocery store is opening June 4 in the Fountains of Palomar shopping center at Harrodsburg Road and Man o’ War Boulevard.

This will be the second Publix in Lexington; the first location opened on March 5 in the new Citation Point shopping center at 1952 Stockton Way.

Publix, at 3855 Fountainblue Lane, will be open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
There is also a 3,200-square-foot Publix Liquors at 3825 Fountainblue Lane with a separate entrance. The liquor store is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, 1 to 9 p.m.
The new Publix will have a pharmacy with a drive-thru, meat department that will custom-cut meats, fresh seafood, produce and floral departments.
