New LaRosa’s opening in Nicholasville. Here’s how to get free pizza, swag

Fans of Cincinnati-based LaRosa’s pizza, get ready, because the chain is opening a new location on Monday.

The new restaurant at 350 E. Brannon Rd. at Brannon Crossing, just off Nicholasville Road south of Lexington in Jessamine County will open at 10:30 a.m. after a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday. Restaurant executives also will make a donation to the Hope Center.

The 160-seat dining room will offer dine-in, pick-up and delivery. It’s the third LaRosa’s Family Pizzeria in the Lexington area, following one on Richmond Road and a take-out only location on Southland Drive.

This spot also is next to a Skyline Chili that opened in December. Both are owned by One Holland Restaurant Group, which also operates First Watch breakfast restaurants in the area.

If you’re a die-hard fan, you might want to get there early: The first 50 guests will get free pizza for a year (which means two large one-topping pizzas each month for 12 months.) And the first 100 guests when the restaurant opens will get a free LaRosa’s-branded three-pizza warming bag filled with LaRosa’s swag including a t-shirt, sauce and a pizza cutter.

For safety, you can’t actually line up this time: Give your name and cell number and wait in your car to find out if you’ve won.
