What is your favorite long standing Lexington restaurant? Vote for yours here.

While there is no shortage of new restaurants coming to Lexington this year, we’d be remiss to not pay homage to some of the city’s long standing food bastions.

From Ramsey’s Diner to Charlie Brown’s bar and Merrick Inn to Joe Bologna’s, there are 13 Lexington restaurants that are at least over 30 years old, and some are more than double that. Topping the list is Columbia Steak House coming in at 74 years, having opened in 1948.

Collectively, these 13 eateries have been in business for a combined 650 years, which is really something to chew on.

We want to give these old-timers some love and salute them for their many years of business.

As part of that salute, we want to know what your favorite long standing Lexington restaurant is. There’s a poll at the bottom of this story where you can cast a vote for your favorite. This isn’t a scientific poll by any means and is solely for fun. Voting is set to close Jan. 7 and you can vote multiple times by refreshing this page.
