New restaurants coming to Lexington in 2022: Chicago beef, cro-nuts and vintage arcade
After a second year of COVID pandemic takeout, outdoor dining and inexplicable food shortages, Lexington diners are ready to move on.
So, what can we expect in 2022 for the local food scene?
A lot. Plenty of new restaurants are expected to open and join the 45 that opened last year. Will they all make it or will they join the 20 that closed in 2021? Of course nobody knows.
After all, the average lifespan of a restaurant is only about five years. So if you see something you like, get it while it’s hot.
