The west side of Lexington is about to get a lot fluffier.

Gourmet brunch restaurant Biscuit Belly is opening a second Lexington location soon at 112 Lucille Dr. #150, in the newly built Leestown Road/Great Acres development near the intersection with Citation Boulevard, just down the road from Masterson Station.

The new Leestown Road location is expected to open in the next 60 to 90 days, according to developer Dennis Anderson. Biscuit Belly opened its first Lexington location at 652 E. Main St. in 2022, in the former A&W burger restaurant. A third Biscuit Belly is coming in 2024.

The Leestown development also recently welcomed a new Ramsey’s Diner and several more restaurants including a Japanese restaurant with sushi, a sports bar with chicken wings and a Starbucks are expected to open in 2024, Anderson said.
