Jeff’s Donuts will open at 1080 S. Broadway Suite 204, opposite First Watch and near Tsao Cha, a bubble tea place.
The company said the new location will open in late January 2025 and will be open 24 hours, seven days a week, just like its six other Louisville-area locations.
“We’re excited to expand to Lexington and bring Jeff’s Donuts to the Lexington community,” said Wes Johnson, President of Jeff’s Donuts. “Jeff’s Donuts is committed to offering a premium product and delivering exceptional service. We look forward to becoming a part of Lexington’s daily routine, whether it’s for a morning coffee, a sweet treat, or a late-night snack.”
The 1,498 square-foot store will be the first location outside of Louisville for the old-fashioned, hand-made doughnut maker. They started just outside of Louisville in downtown Jeffersonville, Ind., in 2004.
Jeff’s Donuts has 40 varieties of premium doughnuts on the menu and is known for its 22 different kinds of Long Johns including Orange Dream, Raspberry Zinger and Vanilla Iced Fruity Pebbles. They are also known for Honeymooners, which is an inside-out filled doughnut capped with a specialty toppings like chocolate peanut butter, cherry vanilla and caramel apple.
The doughnut menu also has specialties like apple fritters, honeybuns and tiger tails.
Every doughnut is made at each location and no matter the size or shape, the price is $2.50. Customers can buy single doughnuts or build their own boxes of four, six, 12, or 26 doughnuts.
