New bar, restaurant coming to Fayette Mall later this summer

Bar Louie, a contemporary casual dining bar and restaurant chain, will open later this summer at Fayette Mall, across from The Cheesecake Factory, according to a press release from CBL & Associates, owners of Fayette Mall.

With more than 125 locations in 29 states, Bar Louie is known for a neighborhood atmosphere, with local flavor. Menus include local craft beer, wine, specialty burgers, flatbreads, shareable appetizers such as the Bulleit bourbon boneless wings and more. This will be second location in Kentucky; the other location at Newport on the Levee in Newport. The chain was founded in Chicago in 1990 and is now headquartered in Addison, Texas.

Bar Louie will go in the spot vacated Travinia Italian Kitchen, which closed in November. As recently as 2010 there was a Bar Louie franchise at Lexington Green.
