If you’re the owner of an incredibly adorable or downright goofy cat that doesn’t get the attention it deserves, we want to help.

The Herald-Leader is searching for Kentucky’s cutest cat, so we’re calling on our readers to share their best photos of their fantastic felines and vote for the winner.

Submit a photo using this Google Form and tell us a little about your furry friend. You can also email all the required information to ask@herald-leader.com.

As of Monday, submissions have closed and we will not take further entrants due to a high number of entries.

Any reader can submit their cat for the contest, but voting will only be open to Herald-Leader subscribers. When voting opens, subscribers can vote as many times as they like. To subscribe, visit Kentucky.com/subscribe for a list of offers, including an initial rate of 99 cents for one month.

The first round of voting will begin Friday, Sept. 13 and end Thursday, Sept. 19.

The winner of our contest will appear in a news story on Kentucky.com.
