After a packed house cheered on the U.S. Men’s National Team Wednesday in its win against Bosnia-Herzegovina, the city of Lexington is hosting a second World Cup watch party at the Kentucky Theater downtown.

More than 800 free seats in the historic theater will be available for spectators on a first-come, first-serve basis for the July 6 game against Belgium. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the game will start at 8 p.m.

“Lexington showed up to cheer on the red, white, and blue, and we’re excited to do it all again,” Mayor Linda Gorton said. “We hope everyone will join us Monday evening as Team USA continues it incredible World Cup run!”

Lexington Sporting Club will have USA-themed merch available for sale at the theater. The broadcast will be run by Fox 56, Central Ketucky’s local Fox affiliate station that has been airing the 2026 World Cup games.
