Lexington’s median home sale price climbs more than $15K in 1 month. See latest data
Although Lexington homes had a higher median sales price in March 2022 than at any other time since early 2020, the area’s real estate market is only getting hotter and hotter.
Lexington metro homes reached a three-year peak in median sale price using data compiled through March 31, and the value has shot up by $15,694 from March to April.
The median home sales price in the area currently stands at $286,500, according to Redfin data, and the number has risen in each month of 2022 so far.
Zillow’s estimation of median home value in Lexington has also risen. It was calculated at $272,503 using data obtained through March 31, and the previous value was $266,334.
A Lexington home is on the market for a median of 36 days, according to Realtor.com, which is one day shorter than the length reported in April.
List prices for single-family homes in Lexington ranged from $84,500 to $8.9 million on Zillow, with 252 agent listings available as of Friday morning.
