Lexington street festivals are back after a coronavirus pandemic imposed hiatus.

But that also means some busy Lexington streets will be temporarily closed this weekend.

On Saturday, the Southland Street Fair returns. A section of Southland Drive between Southport Drive and Southview Drive will be closed Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Southland Street Fair features food vendors, live music and family-friendly entertainment. 3-8 p.m. Saturday. The event is free.

On Sunday, Church Street will be closed from North Mill Street and North Broadway from 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for the Red Barn Radio Festival, which will take place from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Red Barn Radio and LexArts are hosting the street party with musical guests Davey & The Midnights, Wolfpen Branch, and Big Maracas. The event is free.
