Lexington KY man drowns in reservoir near Jacobson Park, coroner says

First responders recovered a missing body in a Lexington reservoir after searching late Wednesday night, authorities said.

Rescue crews were dispatched before 10 p.m. Wednesday for a report of someone who went underwater and never resurfaced, according to Major Derek Roberts with the Lexington Fire Department.

The victim was identified as 76-year-old Ronald E. Logan of Lexington, according to Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn.

Members of the Lexington Fire Department Search and Rescue Unit located Logan.

Logan’s death is being Investigated as an accidental drowning, according to the coroner.
